The OBDSTAR M026 converts the proprietary 3-pin diagnostic connector found on SYM mopeds to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962)-port. The 3-pin connector plugs into your vehicle's diagnostic socket, while the 16-pin female connector attaches to your diagnostic scanner.
SYM mopeds and scooters lack a built-in OBD2 port. This adapter cable maps the 3-pin signal pattern from the diagnostic connector to the corresponding pin positions on the OBD2 connector, allowing your diagnostic tool to correctly interpret vehicle system data. The communication protocol varies depending on the model and variant.
