The OBDSTAR M069 is a universal adapter cable that converts an 8-pin OBD connector to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector. The cable is designed for diagnostic applications on marine engines and connects to outboard motors from brands such as Suzuki, Evinrude, Johnson and Selva. The adapter cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR diagnostic devices or programmers and is part of OBDSTAR's M-series cable range.
The cable connects the 8-pin diagnostic port on the outboard motor to the 16-pin OBD2 input of the connected OBDSTAR diagnostic device. Through this connection, diagnostic functions such as reading fault codes are made possible on engines that lack a standard OBD2 port.
