The OBDSTAR M052 is the adapter cable for the 6-pin diagnostic connector on Royal Enfield motorcycles. On the vehicle side, you'll find the manufacturer-specific 6-pin connector, while the device side features a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) plug for your OBDSTAR diagnostic tool.
Royal Enfield motorcycles don't come equipped with a built-in OBD2 port, but instead use their own proprietary 6-pin connector. This cable routes the necessary signal lines, including the K-line and CAN-bus communication channels, to your diagnostic device's interface. You won't need to manually determine the vehicle connector's pin configuration, and no modifications to the motorcycle's wiring are required.
Through the standard OBD2 interface on your diagnostic scanner, you can then read vehicle data and perform diagnostic functions. The specific operations available depend on your device's software capabilities.
