License Information

When you purchase the OBDSTAR MS50 STD, you receive a software license that provides access to online updates and new motorcycle support for a set period.

• License period: The license is 1 year valid from the first registration of the device.
• Software updates: Updates add support for new motorcycle models, expand existing brands, provide additional service and coding functions, and fix bugs in existing diagnostic modules.
• Extended features: An active license is required to access the latest vehicle software, online updates via WiFi, and use of the one-click remote support function.
• After license expiration: The diagnostic reader remains functional with the last installed software version, but new updates and additional vehicle support become available again only after license renewal.
