\nThe OBDSTAR M019 is a adapter cable that a 6-pin KTM diagnostic connector convert to a 16-pin OBD2 connector (J1962). The cable is designed for use with OBDSTAR diagnostic readers or programmers and enables diagnostics on KTM motorcycles that are equipped with a 6-pin diagnostic connector. The cable features a compact connector on one end 6-pin connector compatible with the KTM vehicle side, and on the other side a standard 16-pin OBD2 connector for connection to the diagnostic device.\n
\nThe adapter cable converts the KTM-specific 6-pin signal electrical to the OBD2 format, so the relevant diagnostic communication is correctly routed to the connected OBDSTAR device. Through this connection, error codes and vehicle data are read out, and supported programming or calibration functionsbecome established. The cable connection is passive — no active signal conversion or protocol translation occurs; the pins are physically connected according to theKTM pin configuration.\n

The M019 adapter cable supports the following diagnostic functions when connected to an OBDSTAR device on KTM motorcycles with a 6-pin diagnostic connector.
- Read fault codes: The connection retrieves stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) from the engine control unit of your KTM motorcycle.
- Clear fault codes: After diagnosis, error codes can be erased from the control unit's memory using the connected OBDSTAR device.
- Access vehicle data: Read live data and motorcycle-specific parameter values such as sensor readings and operating conditions.
- Immobilizer functions: Support for key and transponder programming depending on your OBDSTAR device and available software module for KTM.
