The OBDSTAR M019 adapts the 6-pin diagnostic connector from KTM to the 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) port on your OBDSTAR equipment. On the vehicle side, a compact 6-pole connector fits the diagnostic socket of the motorcycle.

KTM uses a proprietary 6-pin diagnostic connector on many of its models instead of the standard automotive OBD2 connector. The cable is passively wired: the pins are physically connected according to the KTM pin assignment, with no active signal or protocol conversion. Diagnostic communication therefore reaches the device unmodified. Through the cable, you access the engine control unit of the motorcycle. Supported programming or immobiliser functions come from the device itself and depend on the software licence; the cable adds no additional coverage.
