The OBDSTAR iScan Pro FPT (Marine) is a diagnostic scanner specifically designed for FPT marine engine diagnostics and other marine applications. The device is built as a portable tablet with a 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen and a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. Under the hood, it runs on Android 5.1.1 paired with a RK3128 quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor, 16 GB of storage, and a microSD card slot expandable up to 32 GB. The iScan Pro FPT is powered by a 3700 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and provides Wi-Fi connectivity for software updates and online support. The license is valid for 2 years and grants access to diagnostic functions including reading and clearing fault codes, live data streams, actuator tests, settings, and coding.
The scanner supports 24V power input, which is essential for diagnosing larger marine engines. Data streams can be displayed as text, waveform, or gauge view and real-time data can be recorded and played back to pinpoint sensor and component faults with precision. Through the OBDSTAR mobile app, you can access additional features such as diagnostic connector locations. Additionally, there's a one-click remote function available for remote technical support from OBDSTAR.
