The Airbag Reset software licence activates the module group on your KeyMaster G3 that OBDSTAR Crash Reset calls. It contains the three operations that follow collision or a repair may be required. These are the airbag control unit, the battery monitoring module and the steering angle sensor.
After a collision, the vehicle records the crash data embedded in the airbag control module. As long as they remain there, the warning light will continue to illuminate, even if all components have been replaced. This module group clears that data on vehicles that permit it, so that the repair can be completed.

Group D — Crash Reset
This module group contains the crash data clearing, resetting the battery monitoring and the teaching of the steering angle sensor.
- Complete vehicle damage procedures: Clear crash data and event codes after the component replacement are included.
- Register new battery: Reset the battery management system so the readings charging behaviour match the battery installed.
- Learn sensor: Resetting and relearning the steering angle sensor after calibration or steering column work.
- Clear fault codes: The three operations in one session perform without switching devices.

What you'll need
Activation is processed via your OBDSTAR account. Without the components listed below, you cannot access the module group not included to use.
- An OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3: The licence unlocks a device that you already has and is not supplied separately.
- A registered OBDSTAR account: The activation code is located on registered that we prepare for you.
- An internet connection: The device verifies on startup which module groups must be unlocked.
- The serial number of your device: The twelve-digit serial number on the sticker on the back, in the menu system information and in your OBDSTAR account.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working module group are the four steps. The serial number is the only thing you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: Enter the twelve-digit serial number of your KeyMaster G3; this is required.
- We prepare it: We notify OBDSTAR of the activation, typically within one working day.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us once the module group is on your serial number is located.
- Update device: Start the G3 with internet connection; the unlocked group will then appear in the menu.
