The OBDSTAR M048 is the adapter cable for the 8+8-pin diagnostic port found on Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycles. The cable features a Y-split design with two 8-pin connectors on the vehicle side, terminating in a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) connector for your OBDSTAR diagnostic device.
The connector layout on this motorcycle platform is non-standard: both 8-pin connectors must be used together to fully access the diagnostic port. The pins are internally wired to the correct positions on the OBD2 plug, ensuring proper transmission of the K-line and power lines. The connector housings match the factory specifications of both manufacturers.
Once connected, the device communicates with the motorcycle's ECU. What you can read, clear, or program afterward depends entirely on your diagnostic tool's software capabilities.
