The OBDSTAR TCM-004 adapter cable is specifically designed to connect a Temic DL382 transmission control module (TCM) with compatible diagnostic equipment. This cable features a specific 23-pin Temic connector on the vehicle side and a 15-pin DB15 connector on the interface side. The adapter is mainly used during bench operations for direct reading and programming of VAG transmissions without needing to be installed in the vehicle.

The wiring facilitates stable signal transmission and power supply between the TCM and the connected hardware, which is essential for accurate memory operations such as cloning and calibrating. The pin-out is precisely calibrated for the communication protocol of the DL382 architecture, preventing data corruption during read and write processes. This cable is exclusively compatible with OBDSTAR diagnostic devices or programmers.
