The Jaltest JT2003 is a digital multimeter designed for industrial applications. The device features a True RMS measurement function, guaranteeing accurate measurements of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal AC waveforms. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, meaning it is completely dust-tight and protected against water jets. Additionally, the multimeter has been tested for drop resistance up to 2 meters, supporting durability in demanding work environments. The instrument can perform measurements for voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, and continuity.

This multimeter is equipped with various specialized functions. The Low Pass Filter (LPF) function allows precise voltage and frequency measurements on variable frequency drives (VFDs). The LoZ low input impedance mode helps eliminate ghost voltages for more reliable measurements. A specific MOTOR TEST function is available to check the rotation direction of three-phase motors. Furthermore, the JT2003 features a peak detection of 250 µs for capturing transients, a 6000-count display with backlighting that automatically adjusts to ambient light, and the ability to measure both AC and DC components simultaneously.
