The Autool PT650 is a digital oil pressure tester for automatic transmissions, with a measuring range of 0 to 29.4 bar and an accuracy of 0.5% of full scale. You connect it to a pressure test point on the transmission and see whether the pump and pressure regulation reach the prescribed pressure.
On the 2.8-inch screen you see the current pressure, the highest and lowest value, the difference and the measuring time. It is supplied with an oil-resistant transfer hose, 12 connector types of riveted copper and a case. It is a measuring instrument: it does not change or flush the oil.

What you use it for
- Harsh or delayed shifting: Whether the line pressure reaches the prescribed value.

- Before disassembly: A pressure measurement is quicker than opening the gearbox.
How to use it
- Choosing a test point: Find the pressure test point and the prescribed values in the manufacturer's data.
- Connecting: Remove the plug and screw in the matching fitting with the transfer hose attached.
- Zero point and unit: Set the tester to zero and choose bar, kg/cm² or psi.
- Measuring: Measure according to the manufacturer's procedure, with the engine running and the hose clear of exhaust and moving parts.
- Comparing: Compare the values with the manufacturer's pressure chart.
