Autool AS507 | Power Steering Fluid Tester
The Autool AS507 is a digital power steering fluid tester that analyzes the quality of the fluid by measuring light transmission. The device uses a highly precise photoelectric sensor to determine the presence of impurities, contaminants, and the degree of aging. The results are displayed as a percentage from 0–100% on the display.
This instrument is equipped with a 2.8 inch backlit LCD screen and a flexible probe of 350 mm, made from oil- and corrosion-resistant PTFE material. In addition to light transmission, the AS507 also measures the temperature of the fluid in °C. The status of the power steering fluid is clearly indicated with 'OK', a warning symbol, or a replacement symbol, supported by an analog bar graph and an audio indicator. Thanks to the compact design, the tester can be operated with one hand.
Application and functionality:
The AS507 determines the condition of power steering fluid through light transmission detection. The sensor measures variations in the optical properties of the fluid and converts this data into a clear assessment, displayed on the LCD screen.
