The Autool AS505 is a transmission fluid tester that analyzes the condition of the fluid in a gearbox. The device uses an optical sensor to measure the transmittance of the oil, determining the level of contamination and aging. In addition to clarity, an integrated sensor also measures the temperature of the fluid for a complete analysis.
The tester is equipped with a flexible probe with a length of 800 mm, made of oil- and corrosion-resistant PTFE. Results are displayed within seconds on an illuminated 2.8-inch LCD screen. The display includes the transmittance in percentage, an analog bar graph, the fluid temperature in °C or °F, and a clear indication whether the fluid is in good condition, needs attention, or should be replaced.

This instrument is designed for quick and easy checking of transmission fluid quality, helping with preventive maintenance and preventing damage to the gearbox.
