Launch X-431 EV Kit
The Launch X-431 EV Kit is an expansion package designed for use with compatible Launch diagnostic tablets, such as the X-431 PAD V, PAD VII, PRO5, and PRO3S+. This kit enables technicians to perform in-depth diagnostics on electric vehicles (EVs), particularly focused on analyzing high-voltage battery systems. Using the supplied adapter cables and an activation card, users can read and evaluate battery parameters such as state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), temperature, and individual cell voltages.
The EV Kit supports various diagnostic methods, including connection via the OBD2 port, jumper cables, and specific battery connectors. After activation via the Launch software, technicians can stream real-time data, read and clear fault codes, and generate detailed reports that can be easily shared. The kit supports a wide range of car brands and battery manufacturers, including Tesla, BYD, BMW, Volkswagen, CATL, and BYD.
