The OBDSTAR MP001 Kit is a multifunctional programmer for EEPROM and MCU operations on vehicle modules. The device supports reading, writing, cloning, and data processing for passenger cars, trucks, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and jetskis. The kit is built around an STM32F407VET6 processor and offers connections via DC power connector, OBD female, OBD male, DB9, and DB25. Additionally, the device is compatible with the functions of the P003 and P003+ adapter, enabling additional operations on engine and transmission modules.
The MP001 communicates with vehicle modules via the supplied cabling and the multifunctional read/write board C4-01. For component-level connection, the W004 and W005 solder wires are used, while the W006 clock frequency wire supports specific chip operations such as RH850/V850 data reading and writing. The device handles, among other things, PIN code extraction, IMMO data synchronization, dashboard mileage calibration, SAS reset, and programming of Mercedes-Benz FBS3 keys. The exact software functions vary depending on the connected host device and configuration.
