The Jaltest JDC310A connects the round diagnostic connector of the ECAS air suspension control system on Solbus buses to the 16-pin OBD2 socket where the Jaltest Link diagnostic cable fits. On the vehicle side there is no flat OBD connector but a round black connector with a ribbed coupling nut that you tighten, and a threaded cable clamp. In the round front are sixteen positions in a honeycomb pattern, of which only a handful are populated. The cable is 28.5 to 29.5 cm long.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software reaches the air suspension control system that manages the ride height and level regulation of the bus. This gives access to BUS ECAS and Wabco ECAS CAN 2, the CAN version of the same control system. For Solbus coverage, the cable is limited to reading data; with Wabco ECAS CAN 2, Jaltest also offers parameter and calibration functions. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under the Jaltest CV module.

Applications and functionality
Via this connection, you access the air suspension control of the bus using the Jaltest software. This is the unit that controls the ride height and the level adjustment of the axles. The units listed below are covered by Jaltest's Solbus coverage.

- BUS ECAS: The air suspension control as listed in Jaltest's Solbus coverage, with fault codes, measured values and control unit data.
- Wabco ECAS CAN 2, electronically controlled air suspension: The CAN version of the same control system.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory of the ECAS control and clear it after repair.
- View measured values: The current readings from the height sensors and air suspension pressures.
- View diagnostic message: Jaltest displays the fault message that the Wabco ECAS CAN 2 system itself generates.
- Parameters and calibration: For Wabco ECAS CAN 2, these are listed in the Wabco coverage; what you see depends on the configuration in the bus.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The control unit is the determining factor, not the model year of the bus. This cable is designed for the ECAS air suspension system on buses manufactured by Polish builder Solbus. The connector is located on the vehicle wiring – typically in a control box in the cab – and operates alongside standard vehicle diagnostics. You'll recognise it by the round black connector with the ribbed coupling nut.
Solbus:
- Urban and regional buses: Fitted with an ECAS air suspension system on the round 16-pin connector.
- Wabco ECAS CAN 2: The CAN version of the same system, which Jaltest also covers under this range.
- Model year independent: The system connector operates alongside standard vehicle diagnostics on the bus.
