The Jaltest OHW is a complete diagnostic system for earthmoving and heavy equipment: a case containing the Jaltest Link, the unit you connect to the diagnostic socket, and the software that runs on your own laptop.

With it, you can access the control units of excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks, cranes and compact machines, as well as stationary engines. Cojali divides coverage into three lists: 99 heavy equipment manufacturers, 87 compact equipment manufacturers and 30 engine manufacturers. A new software version is released three times per year, with additional manufacturers, models and systems.

This set includes everything required to perform diagnostics: the Link, the software activation and the software licence for the first year. Once you receive the unit, we will activate the module based on the serial number of the supplied Link. You will need to arrange a laptop and the manufacturer-specific cables separately.

KEY BENEFITS

✔Complete to get started. The Jaltest Link, software activation and first-year software licence are all included.
✔Technical information included. Jaltest INFO Online OHW (29476) is built into the software, cannot be purchased separately and is free of charge until 2026.

✔Named calibrations. Cojali includes, among others, resetting diesel particulate filter and SCR maintenance, calibrating the implement control valve and the hydrostatic unit.

IMPORTANT NOTES

✕No laptop, no OEM cables. Only the 16-pin OBD cable is included. Earthmoving equipment often uses manufacturer-specific connectors, so budget for an additional cable set.
✕Sweepers are a separate module. Cojali displays multi-functional vehicles on the OHW page, but in the price list that is a separate licence (29348). For that we have the Jaltest Sweepers set.
✕No INFO Plus for OHW. The extended module with intelligent guides and vehicle schematics is only available with a CV or Modular licence.
✕Six-monthly registration. The software requires registration every six months. If you don't complete it, the software will lock.

  • Multipin kit (70002001): Loose measurement leads with connecting cable, plus two power cables: JDC10AM2 with battery clamps and JDC20AM2 for the cigarette lighter socket.
  • OBD cable, 16-pin: The standard cable for the regular diagnostic connector.
  • USB-C cable: The connection between the Link and your laptop.
  • 1-metre extension cable: With a 26-pin SubD connector, the wide connector on the Link itself.
  • Case: The compact version, 505 x 381 x 146 mm.

Software

  • Software activation: The one-time purchase that unlocks the OHW module.
  • Software licence, twelve months: The right to use it for the first year.

The difference with expert mode. Standard diagnostics involves reading data, measuring and controlling functions. In expert mode, you can additionally modify parameters in control units: Cojali itself lists sensor and actuator calibration, adjustment of operating parameters, and diesel particulate filter replacement and regeneration. This mode is included with it.

Cables and computer

The case includes the 16-pin OBD cable. If the machine has a proprietary connector, then there is a separate cable for that. Cojali bundles the earthmoving cables into two sets:

Useful to know:If you renew within fifteen days of the expiry date, the new period runs from that expiry date; after that, it begins on the renewal date. Renew using the update licence; include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field.
