The Jaltest 29349 is the annual renewal license for Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle, the diagnostic module for vehicles with combined applications. This extends your current license for twelve months, for those who already have the module in use. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months of access to new software versions, including the vehicles, systems, and features added that year. If you don't renew, your diagnostic tool continues to work on the last installed version: You keep your device, but receive no new coverage anymore. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with the software activation (29348) and the first-year software license (74001012); this renewal license continues from year two onward.

Applications and Features
Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle is the module for vehicles with combined applications. This update license keeps that module active; what you can do with it depends on the vehicle and cable you use.
What the Multi-Purpose Vehicle module covers
- Multi-purpose vehicles: Vehicles with multiple purposes and combined applications that don't fit entirely within one of the CV, OHW, AGV or MHE segments.
- Mercedes-Benz/MTU and Iveco: Engine control units, via cables JDC203A and JDC206A.
- Kubota: Engine control units, via cable JDC523A.
- FPT engines: The 19-pin connector, via cable JDC526A.
What you can do
- System scan: Display all available control units and identify any fault codes.
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory for each control unit, with detailed fault descriptions.
- Measurement values and live data: Request sensor readings and monitor them in real-time while the vehicle is running or operating.
- Component Actuation: Selectively activate actuators to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring connected to it.
- Parameters and Calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers per system.
- Maintenance Resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
- Expert Mode: Manually select a control unit when automatic selection doesn't apply.
What You'll Need
This update license is the renewal within a fixed package. Below you'll find the complete breakdown.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to launch the software on a PC.
- Software Activation (29348): Purchased once, remains valid indefinitely.
- Software License Year One (74001012): The annual license for the first year.
- Update License (29349): This product. Twelve months of renewal, from year two onwards.
- Diagnostic Cables: The Multi-Purpose cable set (70002005) with JDC203A, JDC206A, JDC217.9, JDC523A and JDC526A, or individual cables per brand. Cables are not included.
Under the license terms, Multi-Purpose Vehicle is combined with Jaltest OHW (29308), the module for off-highway equipment. If you also work on commercial vehicles, there's Jaltest CV (29303). For wiring diagrams and guided repair procedures, there's INFO Plus. These modules are purchased separately.
