\nThe Jaltest 29481 is the update license for the Jaltest Manufacturer Module, with which you select via the system manufacturer instead of through the vehicle model. This extends your current license by twelve months, for those who need the module already in use has. We link the renewal to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and activate it within one business day after your order.\n
\nWith the renewal, you keep twelve months access to the new software versions, with the system manufacturers and components that are added that year. If you don't renew, the manufacturer module blocked; your Modular diagnostic system remains separate. Additionally, the module doesn't work independently: you need a ongoing Modular Truck license (293100) or Modular Bus License (293300) if needed, or both. If you don't yet have the module, you'll start with the software activation (29469).\n

Features and functionality
The manufacturer module is an alternative navigation path in Jaltest Diagnostics. This update license keeps that module active; you use it within the coverage of your Modular Truck or Modular Bus license.
What the manufacturer module covers
- System manufacturers: Selection via the system manufacturer, such as engine management, brake systems, transmissions, and electronics.
- Vehicles outside the model catalog: Models that cannot be selected directly by make and model.
- Conversions and custom builds: Vehicles assembled from components by different manufacturers.
- Within Modular Truck and Bus: The module works within the coverage of the Modular license you have.
What you can do
- Select by manufacturer: Go directly to the system without first choosing the vehicle model.
- System scan: Display all control units present and see where faults are located.
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory per control unit, with a description of the fault.
- Live data and sensor readings: Request sensor values and monitor them in real-time while the engine is running or the vehicle is in motion.
- Component actuation: Activate actuators selectively to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring leading to it.
- Parameters and calibrations: Write settings and perform the calibration procedures that Jaltest offers for each system.
- Service resets: Reset service and maintenance intervals.
What you'll need
The manufacturer module cannot be used standalone. Below is the complete setup.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, and also needed to launch the software on a PC.
- Modular Truck License (293100) or Modular Bus License (293300): Active, one or both.
- Software Activation (29469): Purchased once, remains valid.
- Update License (29481): This product. Twelve months of renewal, from the second year onwards.
- Diagnostic cables: Per brand or system, individual or as a cable set.
The manufacturer module is in addition to your Modular license and does not replace it. Without an active Modular Truck or Modular Bus license, you cannot use it.
