The Jaltest JDC564.9 is the diagnostic cable for the 8-pin connector on Zapi power modules in electrically powered lift trucks and warehouse vehicles. On the machine side, there is a flat rectangular connector with a white pin housing and eight pin positions in a single row; this connector is part of the controller itself and is typically located in the electrical compartment of the machine. On the interface side, the cable does not terminate in OBD2 but in a 26-pin DB26, which connects directly to the main cable of the interface. The cable measures 51 cm.
You select this cable based on the controller in the machine, not on the lift truck manufacturer: Zapi is not a truck builder but a traction controller manufacturer that supplies its power electronics to various machine builders. Once the connection is established, Jaltest software reads the electronics that control the drive and lift motors. Jaltest lists these controllers as power modules in the coverage, with versions TPM, TPMM and TPMS, partly via CAN and partly via RS232. All versions include fault codes, measured values and parameters; only the RS232 version adds live data monitoring. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE.

Applications and functionality
Via this connection, you access the Zapi power module of the machine using Jaltest software. Which version is present varies depending on the controller and the communication protocol. The units listed below are covered by Jaltest MHE coverage for Zapi.

What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the power module and clear it after repair.
- View measured values: Display current sensor readings and controller inputs.
- Configure parameters: Read and adjust the controller configuration.
- Live data monitoring: For Zapi TPM (RS232), Jaltest also displays system values during operation.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The controller determines compatibility, not the machine manufacturer. This cable is designed for Zapi power modules with the 8-pin connector in electrically powered internal transport equipment. The white pin housing with eight pin positions in a single row is visible on the controller itself; the forklift nameplate provides no indication.
