The Jaltest JDC554A connects the rectangular 4-pin diagnostic connector of Linde warehouse trucks, stackers and pallet trucks to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the equipment side, there is a black rectangular connector with four flat contact positions in a single row, a locking tab on the top and a straight cable entry; the cable measures 28 to 30 cm. This connector sits beneath the truck bonnet and is immediately distinguishable from the round Linde connectors found on counterbalance forklifts.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software accesses the control units behind this single connector. On the lighter warehouse equipment, this is the LAC power module, the heart of the electric drive and lift system, and on stackers it is joined by the LID display unit. On the LAC, fault codes, measured values, ECU data and maintenance information are all four available; an extensive CAN network such as found on Linde counterbalance forklifts is not present. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under the Jaltest MHE module.

Applications and functionality
Using this connection, you can access the control units behind the rectangular 4-pin connector with Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by model: on pallet trucks and reach trucks only the LAC power module is covered, on the stackers comes with the display LID included. The units listed below are covered by Jaltest's MHE coverage.
Control units you can access
- LAC, power module: The power module of the electric drive and lift system, including fault codes, measured values, ECU data and maintenance information.
- LID, display: The instrument display of the stacker, with the same functions.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, with descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: The current sensor readings connected to the control unit, displayed as figures and graphs.
- Check maintenance data: The service intervals and work performed on the truck, with a service report.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type is what matters, not the model. This cable fits any Linde warehouse truck, stacker or pallet truck with the rectangular 4-pin diagnostic connector under the bonnet. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest's MHE coverage; for internal transport equipment there is no OBD requirement, so this connector remains in use on newer trucks as well. The difference is visible to the naked eye: rectangular and flat versus round.
