The Jaltest JDC546A connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector of the ZF Ergopower transmission to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the vehicle side is a white plastic connector with six positions in two rows of three, set in a black overmoulded housing with a locking tab at the top. Halfway along the cable is a turquoise marker ring; the cable measures 28 to 30 cm.
With this connection, the Jaltest software reads the ZF - Ergopower transmission control unit, the powershift gearbox that ZF supplies for wheel loaders, dumpers and similar machines. Jaltest lists this unit under Gearbox, with fault codes, measured values, actuator tests, ECU data and calibration. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and is covered by Jaltest OHW.

Applications and functions
Through this connection, the Jaltest software accesses the transmission control unit of the ZF Ergopower gearbox. This unit is separate from the engine control and has its own diagnostic connector, also on machines that have a different connection besides it.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The transmission determines compatibility, not the machine make. This cable is for the ZF Ergopower powershift gearbox and is therefore widely applicable. Check which diagnostic connector is fitted to the gearbox on your machine before ordering.
Application:
- Work machines with ZF Ergopower: Such as wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks.
- Machine make not decisive: Jaltest supports the Ergopower on the machines in which ZF supplies the gearbox.
- Year of manufacture not decisive: Work machines have no mandatory diagnostic connection, so this connector remains in use.
