The Jaltest JDC512A connects the manufacturer-specific 14-pin diagnostic connector of Deutz-Fahr-, Same- and Lamborghini-tractors to the 16-pin OBD2-port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the machine side, there is a round black connector with fourteen pins and a ribbed coupling ring; midway along the cable sits a black rectangular block. The three manufacturers fall under the same parent company (SDF) and therefore share the same connector, and the cable measures 28 to 30 cm in length.
Through this connection, the diagnostic equipment accesses the vehicle network and thus the engine control units EMR, EMR2 and EMR3, the transmission controls Power Shift and Power Shuttle and the system scan via the display. The EMR3 is the variant with common rail injection; on some TTV variants, Jaltest reads the engine control but not the transmission. This variant works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and functionality
Via this connection you can access the control units of the tractor using Jaltest software. Which systems are present varies by model and variant. The following units are found in the Deutz-Fahr-, Same- and Lamborghini coverage with Jaltest AGV.
Control units you can access
- Engine management EMR with unit-pump system: The older electronic engine control, fitted to the Agrotron generation.
- Engine management EMR2 (EDC): The engine control unit of the later Agrotron and TTV variants.
- Engine management EMR3 (EDC 16 UC40): The engine control with common-rail injection of the newer TTV series.
- Transmission Power Shift: The control unit of the power-shift gearbox.
- Transmission Power Shuttle: The control unit of the reversing mechanism.
- Display with system scan: A complete system scan that shows you at a glance which control units are present and where faults are recorded.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit, with a description of the detected fault.
- View measured values: The current readings from the sensors connected to the control unit, displayed as figures and graphs.
- Activate components: Directly trigger components to determine whether a fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring to it.
- Configure parameters: Write configurations and settings to the control unit.
- Perform calibrations: For systems where Jaltest offers a calibration procedure, for example after replacing a component.
Compatible vehicles and applications
Deutz-Fahr, Same and Lamborghini belong to the same manufacturer group and therefore use the same 14-pin diagnostic connector. The following series are covered by Jaltest AGV, with the model years where they are documented. The 14-pin round connector indicates whether this cable is compatible.
The connector type is what matters, not the tractor model. This cable fits any tractor from Deutz-Fahr, Same or Lamborghini equipped with the 14-pin diagnostic socket.
