The Jaltest JDC508A connects the 5-pin diagnostic connector of the New Holland TN series to the 16-pin OBD2 port on your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the machine side, there is a black moulded connector marked Jaltest and a white plastic pin holder with five round cavities arranged in a single row, secured on both sides with a retaining clip; halfway along the cable sits a black rectangular block. The Case IH JX series derived from the TN uses the same connector, and the cable is 28 to 30 cm in length.
Behind this single connector lie the three electronic control units of the TN and JX series: MA for the transmission, MB/EDC for the hydraulic lift and NA/4WD for the drivetrain. Across these three units, Jaltest provides full functional coverage, including service intervals, diagnostic alerts and corrective actions; an engine control unit is not included, as these tractors feature a mechanically governed engine. This configuration works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and functionality
Via this 5-pin connection contact us with the Jaltest softwarethe electronic control units of theTN- and JX-series. This covers three control units, with full diagnostic functionality available on all three. The following units are included in Jaltest AGV's New Holland and Case IH coverage.
Control units you can access
- Transmission MA: The gearbox control unit.
- Hydraulics MB/EDC: Electronic control of the three-point linkage system.
- Drivetrain NA/4WD: Control of four-wheel drive and differential lock.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The TN-series from New Holland and the derived JX-series from Case IH share the same 5-pin connector. Jaltest AGV covers the following series, including the production years in which they were manufactured. The white connector housing with five round cavities indicates whether this cable is compatible.
The connector type is what matters, not the tractor model. This cable fits any New Holland or Case IH tractor equipped with the 5-pin diagnostic connector.
