The Jaltest JDC407A is the adapter cable that converts the 8+8-pin ST15 connector of the security gateway in the Iveco Daily to the standard 16-pin OBD2 interface. Rather than connecting to the vehicle's diagnostic port, you attach it directly to the security gateway connector in the wiring harness, allowing diagnostics to bypass that gateway. This eliminates the need to purchase separate gateway access. On the other end, you connect your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
One side features the 16-pin OBD2 connector housed in a black casing; from there, two cable bundles run to two black connectors with eight pins each — together forming the ST15 gateway interface. Behind this gateway lies the Daily's vehicle network: once connected, the equipment accesses the engine control unit EDC 17 with common-rail injection, the braking, anti-slip and stability control systems ABS9/ASR9/ESP9, the automatic gearbox ZF 8HP Hi-Matic and the exhaust aftertreatment system DCU. This cable is part of Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

Via this connection, you access with the Jaltest software the vehicle network behind the security gateway. The control units listed below are covered for Daily variants with security gateway.

- SGW: The security gateway to which this cable connects.
- EDC 17 and EDC MD1: The engine control unit with common-rail injection. EDC 17 on (2019 - 2021), EDC MD1 thereafter.
- ABS9/ASR9/ESP9: The hydraulic anti-lock braking system with anti-slip and stability control.
- BCM: The body control module.
- EM: The chassis extension module.
- ACM: The climate control unit.
- DCU: The exhaust aftertreatment system.
- PAM and PAM2: The parking assistance system.
- PCM: The communication module.
- ITM and IHP: The multimedia display and its operation.
- ZF 8HP Hi-Matic: The automatic gearbox.
- DAB and NIS: The audio system.
- IRCS TELMA: The retarder.
- IC (TFT): The instrument cluster.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit with descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: Display current sensor readings connected to the control unit in numerical and graphical format.
- Activate components: Directly trigger components to determine whether the fault lies with the component itself or in the wiring.
- Parameters, calibrations and maintenance resets: For systems where Jaltest offers these procedures.
Compatible vehicles and applications
What matters is whether the variant has the security port, not the model.This cable is for the ST15 variant of that port, with two 8-pin connectors. The following Daily variants have that port within Jaltest coverage; the cutoff is 2019. The connection point is located in the wiring harness at that port.
Iveco variants with security port covered:

- Daily CNG: (2019 - 2021) and (2021 - present)
Iveco variants without that port covered, for which this cable is not required:
- Daily: (2016 - 2019) and earlier
