De Jaltest JDC122A koppelt de 12-pins diagnoseaansluiting van de Bendix SmarTire-bandenspanningscontrole aan de 16-pins OBD2-ingang van uw Jaltest-diagnosekabel. Aan de trailerzijde zit een grijze rechthoekige stekker met een oranje afdichting. Vlak achter de OBD2-kop zit een zwart kunststof kastje in het snoer, en de kabel is lang in plaats van kort.
Via deze kabel komt de Jaltest-software op de regeleenheid van de bandenspanningscontrole (TPMS) van het getrokken voertuig. U leest per wielpositie de bandenspanning en de sensortemperatuur uit, wist storingscodes, past de waarschuwingsdrempels aan en leert nieuwe of vervangen wielsensoren in. De kabel valt onder Jaltest CV.

Toepassingen en functionaliteiten
Via deze verbinding benadert u met de Jaltest-software de bandenspanningscontrole van het getrokken voertuig, en niet de remregeling. De aansluiting zit nabij de TPMS-regelmodule, op het hoofdchassis of in de centrale bekabelingskast.

Compatibele voertuigen en toepassingen
Bepalend is de stekker, niet het model. De kabel hoort bij opleggers, aanhangers en overig getrokken materieel met de Bendix SmarTire-bandenspanningscontrole en de bijbehorende 12-polige diagnoseaansluiting. Voor trailers is nooit een gestandaardiseerde diagnoseaansluiting voorgeschreven, waardoor deze stekker ook op recenter materieel in gebruik blijft.
