The Jaltest JDC110A is an adapter that hangs as a T-piece in the 7-pin ISO 7638-1 connection between towing vehicle and semi-trailer. The black, round housing has a plug with pins on one side and the round opening with an upstanding lug on the other, so the existing connection continues through. At right angles to it runs a short cable of 22 to 29 cm to a 16-pin OBD2 plug.
Via this branch, the diagnostic equipment gains access to the CAN line that runs through the connection, and therefore to the ABS/EBS of the trailer. Because the connection is standardised, you are not tied to a single chassis builder. This version is specified for 24V and for the Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9, and falls under Jaltest CV.

- Reading out: Select the trailer and the system.
Compatible vehicles and applications
What matters is the plug, not the brand. This adapter fits any semi-trailer or trailer with a 7-pin ISO 7638-1 connection on which CAN runs. That connection is located at the front of the semi-trailer, at the coupling with the towing vehicle.
