The Jaltest 74602011 is the update licence for Marine petrol engine, the Jaltest diagnostics for petrol engines within the Marine package, from outboard and jet ski to inboard and stationary. It extends a module that is already on your serial number by twelve months.
During those twelve months you receive the new software versions, with the engines, systems and functions that Jaltest adds in that year. Jaltest updates the software three times a year. If you do not extend, the module is blocked. You provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field, after which we activate the extension.

Applications and functionalities
Marine Petrol Engine reads the control units of petrol engines in boats, jet skis and stationary applications via the Jaltest Link and a Windows PC. This extension keeps that module active and brings the extensions of the coming year. What you can do per engine depends on the coverage in Jaltest and the connection you use.
What the licence includes

How to use it
- Ordering: Add the update licence to your basket.
- Serial number: Enter the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the current licence is held in the comments field.
- Activation: We apply the extension to that serial number, usually within one working day of your order.
- Confirmation: You will receive the new expiry date by email.
- Use: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the new version. You do not need to reinstall anything.
Compatible vehicles and applications
What counts is the module already on your serial number. The extension does not change the coverage. Marine Petrol Engine continues to work on the petrol engines within the Marine package; the engines that Jaltest adds in the coming year are added to it.
Outboard motors, petrol (15 brands):
- European (1): Selva.
- Asian (5): Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Yamaha.
- American (7): Evinrude, Johnson, Mariner, Mercury, Mercury Racing, Seven Marine, Vanguard Power.
- Chinese (2): Hidea, Parsun.
Jet skis and personal watercraft (5 brands):
- European (1): HSR-Benelli.
- Asian (3): Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha.
- American (1): Sea-Doo (BRP).
Inboard and stationary:
- Inboard: The petrol versions, such as Volvo Penta Gasoline and Mercury Mercruiser.
- Stationary: The petrol versions.
- Not included: The diesel versions.
The versions
Marine Petrol Engine is available in three versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.
- Software activation (74502011): One-off purchase of the module.
- Software licence (74502016): The module with the first year.
- Update licence (74602011): This product. Twelve months' extension, from the second year.
What is not covered by this licence
Marine works by category. If you also work on diesel engines, add the corresponding licence.
- Diesel engines inboard: Marine Inboard (74502003).
- Stationary diesel engines: Marine Complete (74502001).
- All together: Marine Complete (74502001).
What you need in addition
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to start the software on a PC.
- Current licence: The module must already be on your serial number. Otherwise, start with the software activation (74502011).
- Adapter cables (optional): Marine cable set for vessels (70002008) and Personal watercraft cable set (29985). If you do not have them, connect using the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.
- Set with hardware case: If you do not yet have a Jaltest Link, AsTools also supplies Marine Petrol Engine as a set with the Marine hardware case (70001053).
