De Jaltest ETM-kit (70001008) bevat de Jaltest ETM zelf, de elektronische testmodule voor componenten. Bij de module zitten de interfacekabel 70001007 voor de Jaltest Link V9 en de acht testkabels MDC02 tot en met MDC09, bedoeld voor de EBS-modulatoren van Knorr-Bremse en Wabco.
De ETM leest niet alleen mee. Hij bouwt zelf de communicatie met het onderdeel op alsof hij de regeleenheid is, zodat u ziet of de component echt defect is of dat de storing in de bekabeling of de regeleenheid zit. Hij start alleen met een ETM-licentie naast een lopende Jaltest-softwarelicentie voor CV of Modular.

Toepassingen en functionaliteiten
Via de interfacekabel in deze set praat de Jaltest ETM rechtstreeks met de Jaltest Link V9 en daarmee met de Jaltest-software. De acht MDC-kabels zijn de aansluitingen naar de EBS-modulator die u wilt doormeten.

- MDC06: Wabco 10-pins EBS.

Zo gebruikt u hem
- Licentie controleren: Zorg voor een ETM-licentie naast CV of Modular.
- Link aansluiten: Verbind de Link V9 met de pc.
- ETM koppelen: Sluit de ETM aan met kabel 70001007.
- Testkabel kiezen: Kies de MDC-kabel voor de modulator.
- Testen: Start de diagnose of de EOL-test.
Compatibele componenten en toepassingen
Bepalend is het onderdeel en de testkabel, niet het voertuig. De meegeleverde kabels zijn bedoeld voor de EBS-modulatoren van Knorr-Bremse en Wabco. Voor snelheidssensoren en remblokslijtagesensoren zijn losse kabels nodig.
Met de meegeleverde kabels:
- EBS-modulatoren Knorr-Bremse: Eerste tot en met vierde generatie.
- EBS-modulatoren Wabco: Eerste tot en met vierde generatie, waaronder de derde generatie met redundantieventiel (MDC09).
Met losse kabels:
- Snelheidssensoren: MDC12 los, en MDC13 uit de Multipin-kit (JTP98).
- Remblokslijtagesensoren: MDC10 en MDC11 los, en MDC14 uit de Multipin-kit (JTP98).
Licentie en verlenging
- ETM-licentie: De ETM start alleen met een ETM-licentie naast een lopende Jaltest-softwarelicentie voor CV of Modular.
- Looptijd: De ETM-licentie loopt gelijk met de vervaldatum van uw Jaltest-softwarelicentie. Is die nog langer dan een jaar geldig, dan wordt alleen de resterende periode in rekening gebracht.
- Update-licentie: De jaarlijkse verlenging van de ETM is referentie 29701.
