The Jaltest 29051 is the update licence for Jaltest CV, the Jaltest diagnostics solution for trucks, buses, trailers and light commercial vehicles. It extends an existing licence by twelve months, linked to the serial number of your Jaltest Link. This is not a new module, but an extension of a module you already have.
The extension keeps you entitled to the new software versions, with the vehicles, systems and functions added in that year. Jaltest releases three updates per year; in between, nothing changes in your installation. If you do not extend, Jaltest CV will be blocked and you will no longer be able to read out with it. If you do not yet have the module, start with the software activation (29303).

POINTS TO NOTE
✕If you do not extend, the module will be blocked and you will no longer be able to diagnose with it.
✕This extension only works on an existing licence. If you do not yet have one, start with the software activation (29303).
✕The Jaltest Link is mandatory. Without that interface, the software will not start on the PC.
✕Please state the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field when you order; without that number we cannot activate the licence.
Applications and functions
Jaltest CV is the Jaltest diagnostics solution for trucks, buses, trailers and light commercial vehicles. This extension keeps that module active and brings the extensions of the coming year. What you then do with it depends on the vehicle and the connection you use.
What the licence includes
- Module: Jaltest CV.
- Duration: Twelve-month extension.

- Registration: Every six months and after an update.
- Delivery: Digital, linked to your serial number.

- Calibrations: Settings per system.
- Symptom search: Search paths from the complaint.
- Expert mode: Select the control unit yourself.
How to use it
- Ordering: Complete the order in the webshop.
- Serial number: Enter the Link serial number in the comments field.
- Activation: We extend, usually within one working day.
- Confirmation: You receive the new expiry date by email.
- Updating: Download the new version in Jaltest.

What counts is the licence already on your Jaltest Link. The extension does not change the coverage. Jaltest CV continues to work on trucks, buses, trailers and light commercial vehicles; what is added are the vehicles and systems that Jaltest adds in the coming year.

CV or Modular?
For trailers, you select by system manufacturer rather than by bodybuilder. If you only work on one vehicle type, Modular is more targeted.

- Modular: Truck (293100), Bus (293300), Trailer (293500) and LCV (293600), sold separately.
The versions
This module is available in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.
- Software activation (29303): One-off purchase; the module remains yours.
- Software licence (71502018): The module with the first year included.
- Update licence (29051): This product. Twelve-month extension, from the second year onwards.
- Software upgrade (71501001): Adds this segment to Jaltest software of another segment.
What you need
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, including to start the software on a PC.
- Existing licence: Jaltest CV (29303).
- Adapter cables: Optional: Truck and bus cable set (29362), Trailer cable set (70002024) and Cooling unit cable set (29989). Without cables, you connect using the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.
💡
Good to know: If your licence expires, the module is blocked until you purchase the update licence (29051). If you extend within fifteen days after the expiry date, the new period runs on from that expiry date; after that, it starts on the day of extension.
