The Jaltest OHW software licence (74001014) is the Jaltest OHW module including the first year, for diagnostics on heavy and compact earthmoving and road construction equipment. The first year starts as soon as the module has been activated and runs for twelve months. During that period you receive the three software versions that Jaltest releases each year.

If you want the module without the first year, there is the software activation (29308), the one-off purchase. From the second year onwards, you renew with the update licence (29760). We activate the module on the serial number of your Jaltest Link, usually within one working day of your order. Without a Jaltest Link, the software will not start.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕After twelve months the first year expires. If you do not renew with the update licence (29760), the module will be blocked.
✕The Jaltest Link is required. Without that interface the software will not start on the PC.
✕The software asks for registration every six months, even if the licence is still running. If this is not done, the software will be blocked.
✕Please provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field when you place your order. Without that number we cannot activate the licence.

Jaltest OHW is the Jaltest diagnostics for heavy and compact earthmoving and road construction equipment. With this licence, the module is available to you from activation onwards. What you do with it next depends on the vehicle and the connection you use.

How to use it

  1. Serial number: State the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field when ordering.
  2. Activation: We link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day.
  3. Confirmation: You will receive an email as soon as the module is registered to your serial number.
  4. Updating software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the module.
  5. Use: Select Jaltest OHW in the start menu and connect.

Jaltest OHW is available in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.

  • Software activation (29308): One-off purchase of the module.
  • Software licence (74001014), this product: The module including the first year.
  • Update licence (29760): Extension by twelve months, from the second year.
  • Software upgrade (74001001): Adds this segment to Jaltest software of another segment.

Licence and extension

  • First year: Twelve months from activation, included in this product.
  • Renewal: With the update licence (29760), each time for twelve months.
  • Without extension: The module will be blocked until you extend.
  • Registration: Every six months and after a new software version.

Good to know: If your licence expires, the module will be blocked until you purchase the update licence (29760). If you renew within fifteen days after the expiry date, the new period runs on from that expiry date; after that, it starts on the day of renewal.
