Jaltest (50004011) – Wear Sensor Tester (WST)
The Jaltest WST is a compact and professional tester for brake pad wear sensors, designed for use with trucks, buses, and trailers. The device enables quick and non-disassembly checking of the operation and adjustment of wear indicators on brake systems. This significantly reduces the time needed for diagnosis and prevents unnecessary replacement of parts.
By connecting the tester to the brake caliper sensor, the sensor's voltage value is displayed directly on the screen. The built-in LED indication shows whether the wear is within allowable limits (green) or if visual inspection or replacement is needed (red). The WST is compatible with various vehicle brands and brake systems via the supplied adapters.
Connect the correct adapter cable to the brake caliper connector of the vehicle. Select the correct sensor type via the rotary switch. The WST immediately shows the measured output voltage. Use this information to assess the wear percentage of the brake pads. In case of a deviating value or red LED, a visual inspection of the brake pads and discs is recommended.

- Measuring sensor output voltage: Direct reading of the voltage (V) emitted by the brake wear sensor.
- LED status indication: Green LED = within tolerances, red LED = inspection or replacement recommended.
- Sensor selection via rotary switch: Easily switch between different sensor types.
- Quick check without disassembly: No dismantling of components needed to perform diagnosis.
