The Jaltest (29701) is an update license that provides one year of access to software updates for the ETM (Electronic Test Module). This license ensures that the ETM software has the latest functionalities and extensive coverage of electronic components.

The ETM module allows monitoring the operation of electronic modules of commercial vehicles, such as ABS/EBS modulators, wheel speed sensors, and pressure sensors. The software enables the user to test components individually and simulate sensor signals to verify the responses of the control unit.

Application and functionality:

This license activates software updates for the Jaltest ETM module for one year, maintaining and expanding the following functionalities:

  • Software updates: Access to the latest software versions, including support for new components and improved test procedures.
  • Component test: Enables direct diagnosis and control of the operation of electronic components that have been disconnected from the vehicle.
  • Signal simulation: Simulates signals from various sensors to verify the correct operation of the ECU.
  • Actuator diagnosis: Tests the functionality of actuators, such as those in EBS modulators.

License information:

The serial number of the Jaltest interface is required for license activation.

The serial number of the interface, which usually consists of nine characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. This number can be found in one of the following locations:

  • Interface: On the sticker on the back of the Jaltest Link interface.
  • Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under the 'Settings' menu.
  • Packaging box: On the original packaging of the interface.
