The Jaltest (293500) software license is the initial usage license for the Trailer module within the Jaltest Modular diagnostic system. This license activates the software and provides access to updates and all diagnostic functionalities for trailers and semi-trailers for one year. The modular concept makes it possible to tailor diagnostic coverage specifically to the needs of the workshop.

After purchase, the license is automatically activated within 24 hours, after which the software can be used immediately in combination with a Jaltest Link interface. This license is mandatory to perform diagnostics. When the one-year license period has expired, it must be renewed with an update license. Without an active license, access to the software is blocked.

Application and functionality:

This license activates the software for performing diagnostics on electronic systems of trailers.

  • Diagnosis: Reading and clearing fault codes, viewing current data and system information.
  • Activating components: Testing actuators and components such as modulators and valves.
  • Calibrations and parameterization: Setting and calibrating systems such as EBS, ECAS, and other control units.
  • System information: Access to technical data, wiring diagrams, and service information specific to trailers.
  • Maintenance functions: Performing service and maintenance resets.

The serial number of the Jaltest Link interface is required for license activation.

The serial number of the interface consists of 9 characters and can be found in one of the following locations. This number must be entered in the comments field when ordering.

  • Interface: On the sticker on the back of the Jaltest Link V9.
  • Settings menu: In the "about" or "info" screen within the Jaltest software.
  • Packaging box: On the original box of the Jaltest Link interface.
