The Jaltest (74001001) software upgrade offers users with an existing active base license (such as CV or AGV) the possibility to expand their reader device with the OHW (Off-Highway) software module. This expansion is offered at a reduced upgrade price compared to purchasing a completely new license. This upgrade serves as the first step for the activation of the additional software.

After ordering, the software activation is automatically processed within 24–48 hours. It is important to know that this upgrade only activates the OHW module on the device. To actually perform diagnostic functions and receive updates and software improvements, a separate, valid OHW software license is required. Without this additional license, the activated module is not functional.

This software upgrade is designed to expand the functionality of an existing Jaltest system.

Module expansion: Activates the OHW (Off-Highway) software module on a Jaltest reader device that already has an active base license.

Note: This software upgrade activates the OHW module on your reader device. To actually use the diagnostic functions, a separate, valid OHW software license is required. Without this license, the activated module is not functional.

Serial number information:

For the activation of this software upgrade, the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. Please enter this number (9 characters) in the comments field during the ordering process. You can find the serial number in the following locations:

Device: On the back of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.
Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under the settings menu.
Packaging box: On the sticker of the original packaging.
