Applications and functionality

Jaltest MHE is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for materials handling equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers and elevated work platforms. This renewal keeps that module active and includes enhancements for the coming year. What you do with it next depends on the equipment type and the connection you use.

What you can do with it

• Systems and fault codes: The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with their descriptions.
• Live readings: Read parameters whilst the vehicle is running, from engine speed and pressure to temperature.
• Actuation: Direct actuation of components to verify they respond.
• Calibrations and settings: The calibrations and parameter settings that Jaltest offers per system.
• Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.
• Technical information: Releases, procedures and manual diagnostics for the systems you access.
• Expert mode: Select a control unit manually when automatic selection is not suitable.

The renewal does not change the coverage: Jaltest MHE continues to work on forklifts, telehandlers and elevated work platforms. What is added are the vehicles and systems that Jaltest introduces during the coming year.

Four editions

Jaltest MHE comes in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of use included, a renewal, or an add-on to software you already own – not in what you can do with it.

What you need

To diagnose with Jaltest MHE, you need more than this product. The full setup is detailed below.

• Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
• The module itself (75101001): This product. It is the renewal and works on a module you already own.
• Update licence (75101001): This product. Twelve months' renewal, from the second year onwards.
• Adapter cables (optional): Cable set MHE (70002022). If you do not have them, you connect using the multipin set from your Jaltest kit.

How does it work in practice?

From order to renewed licence takes four steps. You do not need to reinstall anything; the serial number is all you need to locate yourself.

1. Provide serial number: When placing your order, state the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the existing licence is registered.
2. We renew: We apply the renewal to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
3. Email confirmation: We'll contact you once the new expiry date is set on your serial number.
4. Update the software: Open Jaltest Diagnostics and download the new version; Jaltest MHE remains in the startup menu as usual.
