The Jaltest 74602002 is the update licence for Marine Vessel, Jaltest diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines and jet skis. It extends an active licence by twelve months. This is not a new module, but an extension of a module that is already registered to your serial number.
With the extension, you maintain twelve months' access to new software versions, including the engines, systems and functions added during that year. Jaltest updates the software three times per year; your installation remains unchanged between updates. If you do not renew, Marine Vessel will be blocked and you will no longer be able to use it for diagnostics.

Applications and functionality
Marine Vessel is Jaltest diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines and jet skis. This extension keeps that module active and includes the additions for the coming year. What you do with it afterwards depends on the engine and the connection you use.
What you can do with it
- Systems and fault codes: The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with their descriptions.
- Live measurements: Engine speed, pressure, temperature and other parameters whilst the engine is running.
- Actuation: Direct actuation of components to verify they respond.
- Calibrations and settings: The calibrations and parameter settings that Jaltest offers per system.
- Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.
- Technical information: Releases, procedures and manual diagnostics for the systems you access.
- Expert mode: Select a control unit manually when automatic selection is not suitable.

The extension changes nothing about coverage: Marine Vessel continues to work on inboard engines, outboard engines and jet skis. What is added are the engines and systems that Jaltest introduces during the coming year.

The three variants
The Marine Vessel module comes in three editions with identical coverage. The difference lies in what you're purchasing – a one-time licence, the first year of use included, or a renewal – not in what you can do with it.

What you need
To diagnose with Marine Vessel, you need more than this product. Below is the complete setup.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- The module itself (74602002): This product. It is the extension and works on a module you already own.
- Adaptor cables (optional): Marine cable set vessels (70002008) and Marine cable set jet skis (29985). If you don't have them, you connect using the multipin set from your Jaltest case.

How does it work in practice?
From order to renewed licence takes four steps. You do not need to reinstall anything; the serial number is all you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: When placing your order, state the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the existing licence is registered.
- We renew: We apply the renewal to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
- Email confirmation: We'll contact you once the new expiry date is set on your serial number.
- Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the new version; Marine Vessel remains in the start menu as usual.
