The Jaltest 74602005 is the licence renewal for Marine Jetski, the Jaltest diagnostic solution for jet skis and water scooters. It extends an active licence by twelve months. This is not a new module, but a renewal of a module that is already registered to your serial number.
With the renewal, you maintain twelve months' access to new software versions, including the engines, systems and functions added during that year. Jaltest updates the software three times per year; your installation remains unchanged between updates. If you do not renew, Marine Jetski will be blocked and you will no longer be able to read data with it.

Applications and functionality
Marine Jetski is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for jet skis and water scooters. This renewal keeps that module active and includes the enhancements for the coming year. What you do with it afterwards depends on the engine and connection you use.

- Systems and fault codes: The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with their descriptions.
- Live measurements: Engine speed, pressure, temperature and other parameters whilst the engine is running.
- Actuation: Direct actuation of components to verify they respond.
- Calibrations and settings: The calibrations and parameter settings that Jaltest offers per system.
- Symptom-based fault finding: Guided search paths that start from the complaint rather than the fault code.
- Technical information: Releases, procedures and manual diagnostics for the systems you access.
- Expert mode: Select a control unit manually when automatic selection is not suitable.

The renewal does not change coverage: Marine Jetski continues to work on jet skis and water scooters. What is new are the engines and systems that Jaltest adds in the coming year.

Marine Jetski is available in three versions with identical coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of usage included, or a renewal – not in what you can do with it.

What you need
To diagnose with Marine Jetski, you will need more than this product. The complete setup is shown below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- The module itself (74602005): This product. It is the renewal and works on a module you already own.
- Adapter cables (optional): Marine cable set for jet skis (29985). If you don't have them, you can connect using the multipin set included in your Jaltest case.

How does it work in practice?
From order to renewed licence takes four steps. You do not need to reinstall anything; the serial number is all you need to locate yourself.
- Provide serial number: When placing your order, state the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which the existing licence is registered.
- We renew: We apply the renewal to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
- Email confirmation: We'll contact you once the new expiry date is set on your serial number.
- Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and download the new version; Marine Jetski remains in the main menu.
