An active license is a requirement for receiving system updates and using the diagnostic software for ADAS. Without a valid license, the ADAS module will be completely blocked after the current period expires. The activation of the software extension takes place automatically and digitally within 24 hours after ordering. A stable internet connection at the time of software startup is necessary to synchronize the new license.

• Technical information and diagrams: The license grants access to the latest technical data, step-by-step repair manuals, and electrical diagrams specifically for ADAS systems.
• Periodic activation: To keep the software functional, a license activation is required with each new software version and at least every six months.

How does it work in practice?

Follow the steps below to correctly request and activate the license renewal.

1. Place order: Add the update license to your shopping cart and enter the serial number of your Jaltest Link interface in the comments field during checkout.
2. Distributor check: We verify whether your Jaltest Link is registered with AsTools. This is a requirement for performing the update.
3. Change distributor (if needed): If your device is not registered with us, we will send you the ‘Jaltest distributor change’ form. Fill it out and return it so we can add your device to our platform.
4. Digital processing: After confirmation of registration and the order, the Jaltest ADAS update license will be digitally activated on your serial number within 24 hours.
5. Automatic synchronization: The next time you start the Jaltest software with an active internet connection, the new license will be automatically recognized and synchronized.

The serial number of your Jaltest Link interface is required to activate the license. This number consists of 9 characters and can be found in one of the following locations. Make sure to enter this number correctly in the comments field when placing your order.

• Settings menu: In the Jaltest software via the Settings menu, where you can view license and device information.
• Packaging box: On the original packaging of the Jaltest diagnostic device.
