The Jaltest 74502011 is the software activation for Marine Benzinemotor, the Jaltest diagnostics for the petrol engines within the Marine package, from inboard and outboard engines through to jet skis and stationary engines. You purchase the module once and the purchase does not expire; the module remains yours. The software runs on a Windows PC and reads the control units via the Jaltest Link. Without that Interface, it will not start.
When ordering, you provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments box; we link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day. Marine Benzinemotor then appears in the start menu of Jaltest Diagnostics. The first year of use is not included in this activation but in the software licence (74502016). For the new software versions from the second year onwards, you take the update licence (74602011); Jaltest releases three updates per year.

This activation unlocks Marine Benzinemotor in Jaltest Diagnostics, the diagnostics for the petrol engines within the Marine package, from inboard and outboard engines through to jet skis and stationary engines. What you do with it next depends on the engine and the connection you use. The software recognises the control units present and reads the fault codes, with their descriptions.

How to use it
- Order: Order the activation for Marine Benzinemotor.
- Serial number: State the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments box; this is mandatory.
- Activation: We link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email as soon as the module is linked to your serial number.
- Use: Start Jaltest Diagnostics, retrieve the module and select Marine Benzinemotor from the start menu.

The coverage of Marine Benzinemotor is decisive. The brands below are included in that coverage; which systems are available per engine varies by model and year of manufacture. These are petrol engines; diesel versions are not included.

The versions
Marine Petrol Engine is available in three versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.
- Software activation (this product): One-time purchase; the module remains yours (74502011).
- Software licence: The module including the first year of use (74502016).
- Update licence: Twelve months' extension, from the second year (74602011).
Outside this licence
Marine works by category. If you also work on diesel engines, add the corresponding licence.
- Diesel engines inboard: Marine Inboard (74502003).
- Stationary diesel engines: Marine Complete (74502001).
- All together: Marine Complete (74502001).
What you need
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to start the software on a PC.
- Update licence (74602011): Twelve months' extension, from the second year onwards.
- Adapter cables (optional): The Marine cable set for vessels (70002008) and the jet ski cable set (29985). Without a cable set, you connect using the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.
- Set with hardware case: If you do not yet have a Jaltest Link, AsTools also supplies Marine Petrol Engine as a set with the Marine hardware case (70001053).
