The Jaltest 74502002 is the software activation for Marine Vessel, the Jaltest diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines and jet skis. You purchase the module once and the purchase does not expire; the module remains yours. The software runs on a Windows PC and reads the control units via the Jaltest Link. Without that interface it does not start.
When ordering, you provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field; we link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day. After that, Marine Vessel appears in the start menu of Jaltest Diagnostics. The first year of use is not included in this activation but in the software licence (74502012). For the new software versions from the second year onwards, you take the update licence (74602002); Jaltest releases three updates per year.

Applications and functionality
This activation unlocks Marine Vessel in Jaltest Diagnostics, the diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines and jet skis. What you can do with it next depends on the engine and the connection you use. The software recognises the control units present and reads out the fault codes, with the description included.

How to use it
- Ordering: Order the activation for Marine Vessel.
- Serial number: State the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the comments field; this is mandatory.
- Activation: We link the module to that serial number, usually within one working day.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email as soon as the module is on your serial number.
- Use: Start Jaltest Diagnostics, retrieve the module and select Marine Vessel in the start menu.

The versions
Marine Vessel is available in three versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase, not in what you can do with it.
- Software activation (this product): One-time purchase; the module remains yours (74502002).
- Software licence: The module with the first year of use included (74502012).
- Update licence: Twelve months' extension, from the second year (74602002).
Outside this licence
Marine works per category. If you also work on other engines, you take the corresponding licence as well.
- Stationary engines: Marine Complete (74502001).
What you need in addition
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to start the software on a PC.
- Update licence (74602002): Twelve months' extension, from the second year.
- Adapter cables (optional): The Marine cable set for vessels (70002008) and the Marine cable set for jet skis (29985). Without the cable set, connect using the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.
