This software extension is essential for receiving the latest system updates, extensive component coverage, and improved test procedures. Without an active license, new features and updates cannot be applied. Activation of the Jaltest license is fully digital and automatic within 24 hours after ordering, provided the conditions are met.

Activation of the Jaltest software extension is a digital process. Follow the steps below for correct processing.

1. Place the order: Add the update license to your cart and complete the ordering process.
2. Enter the serial number: Provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link interface in the designated remarks field during ordering.
3. Check the registration: Ensure your Jaltest Link is registered with AsTools. If not, the update cannot be performed. You can transfer the registration by filling out the ‘Jaltest distributor change’ form and submitting it to us.
4. Automatic processing: After verifying the data, the license will be automatically activated on your serial number within 24 hours.
5. Activate in the software: Start the Jaltest software with an active internet connection to synchronize the new license data and complete the update.

Serial number information

The serial number of your Jaltest V9 Link is necessary for software activation. This number, usually consisting of 9 characters, must be entered in the remarks field when completing your order. You can find the serial number in one of the following locations:

• Interface: On the sticker on the back of the Jaltest V9 Link reading device.
• Settings menu: In the Jaltest software via the ‘Settings’ menu, under device information.
• Packaging box: On the original box in which the reading device was delivered.
