The Jaltest software license with article number (293600) is the activation and the first user license for the LCV (Modular) software. This license period is valid for 1 year and provides access to all updates released during this period. After the first year, the purchase of an annual update license is necessary to continue using the software.

After ordering, the license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours on the specified serial number. An active license provides access to all diagnostic functions, technical information, and software improvements. Without a valid license, the software blocks and the reader device cannot be used.

Applications and functionalities:

This license activates the LCV software for performing various diagnostic tasks on light commercial vehicles.

Diagnosis: Reading and clearing fault codes from all present electronic systems.
Actuator testing: Activating and testing vehicle components such as injectors, relays, and valves.
System and component information: Retrieving technical data, diagrams, and specifications.
Calibrations and parameterization: Calibrating sensors and adjusting system settings.
Maintenance functions: Resetting service messages and performing maintenance procedures.

Serial number information:

For the activation of the software license, the serial number of your Jaltest interface is required. This number, consisting of 9 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the checkout process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

Device: On the back of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.
Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under device information in the settings menu.
Packaging box: On the original packaging of the reader device.
