The Jaltest JDC518A is a specialist Y-cable, designed for in-depth diagnosis of SISU Diesel engines, now known as AGCO Power. This cable combines the signals of two split diagnostic ports – a 3-pin and a 9-pin connector – into a single 16-pin OBD2 connector for your Jaltest main cable.
This Y-configuration is necessary because many of these engines have separate communication lines. Without this cable, a complete picture of the engine management system is impossible. AGCO Power (formerly SISU) is the power source behind countless agricultural machines from top brands. This cable is indispensable for workshops maintaining modern agricultural vehicles, especially when troubleshooting engine and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
Application and functionality:
- Complete engine diagnosis: combines both ports for full ECU access.
- Exhaust aftertreatment: diagnosis of DPF (particulate filter) and SCR (AdBlue), including forced regeneration and resetting values.
- Read and clear fault codes: reading and deleting engine and aftertreatment fault codes.
- View live engine data: reading injection values, turbo pressure, AdBlue levels and quality, and other sensor data.
- Calibrations and system tests: coding injectors, resetting system values, and performing engine tests.
