The Jaltest ETM kit (70001008) is the complete package for the Jaltest ETM, the component test module. The kit includes the ETM interface for Jaltest Link V9 (70001007) and cables MDC02 through MDC09, designed for EBS modulators from Knorr-Bremse and Wabco. This gives you all the hardware you need in one go to test those components with the ETM.
The ETM works only with a Jaltest Link and with Jaltest software: It runs exclusively with an ETM license and as long as your Jaltest software license is active. The ETM can only be combined with a CV license or Modular license and is not available for Jaltest handhelds. Hardware, software and usage rights for the ETM expire on the same date as your Jaltest software license expiration date ; the annual ETM renewal is reference 29701.

What the ETM does
- Test vehicle components: The ETM is the component test module within Jaltest.
- EBS modulators: The cables MDC02 through MDC09 from the ETM kit are designed for EBS modulators from Knorr-Bremse and Wabco.
- Speed sensors: For this, MDC12 is available separately, and MDC13 comes with the Multipin kit (JTP98).
- Brake pad wear sensors: For these, MDC10 and MDC11 are available separately, and MDC14 comes with the Multipin kit (JTP98).
- Connection to Jaltest Link: Via the ETM interface for V9 (70001007), or via the MDC100.9 adapter cable for earlier ETM versions.
What's included in the kit
The kit contains the following components.
- ETM interface for V9 (70001007): The interface that connects the ETM to the Jaltest Link V9.
- MDC02, MDC03, MDC04, MDC05, MDC06, MDC07, MDC08 and MDC09: Cables designed for EBS modulators from Knorr-Bremse and Wabco.
Also available separately: MDC10 and MDC11 for wear sensors, MDC12 for speed sensors, and MDC100.9 , the adapter cable that connects an earlier ETM version to the Jaltest Link V9. The Multipin kit for the ETM (JTP98) has been developed to test a wider range of speed sensors and brake pad wear sensors. In addition to the individual multipins, this kit includes two auxiliary cables: MDC13 for speed sensors and MDC14 for wear sensors.
