Jaltest CV (Commercial Vehicles) | Diagnostic Tool

The Jaltest CV is not a standard reading device, but a professional diagnostic platform designed for in-depth diagnosis of commercial vehicles. This multi-brand and multi-system system is suitable for, among others, trucks, buses, Trailer, Delivery van and special vehicles. The platform consists of a robust wireless VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) combined with the powerful Jaltest SOFT diagnostic software, which is installed on a compatible PC or laptop.

The power of Jaltest lies in the combination of extensive vehicle coverage, in-depth diagnostic capabilities and integrated technical support tools. In addition to reading and clearing fault codes, the system offers direct access to a comprehensive database with technical data, wiring diagrams, repair instructions, maintenance procedures and live measurements. This allows the technician not only to identify the fault code but also to analyze the cause and perform the correct solution — all within one clear and user-friendly interface. Diagnostic functions:

Jaltest CV offers extensive and brand-independent OE-level diagnostic capabilities for all electronic systems within commercial vehicles. Core functions include:

• Complete system diagnosis: automatically performs a full scan of all present control units (ECUs) in the vehicle and immediately detects fault codes per system.
• Read and clear fault codes: shows current, permanent, and sporadic fault codes with clear descriptions, including original OEM fault code numbers and explanatory details.
• Live data monitoring: records real-time values from sensors and parameters. Data can be displayed numerically and graphically, with the option to save measurements for later analysis.
• Test actuators: directly controls individual components such as valves, relays, injectors, or electric actuators to verify their operation in real time.

License information:

The Jaltest CV diagnostic device with Link V9 works with an annual software license. This license provides full access to the diagnostic platform and includes:

• Software updates: three times a year with new features, vehicle coverage, and current information.
• Technical support: assistance with diagnostic procedures, activations, and updates.
• After expiration: diagnostic functions and expert mode remain usable, but without technical information and without ETM function.
• Reactivation: within 15 days after the expiration date extension from the original date, thereafter from the renewal date.
• Registration: mandatory via the Jaltest portal, after each software version and every six months. Without re-registration, the software will be blocked.

Modular construction
The Jaltest software is expandable. In addition to commercial vehicles (CV), additional licenses can be activated for:
