BMW ENET OBD2 - RJ45 Interface cable
The BMW ENET (Ethernet to OBD2) interface cable is the standard for fast diagnosis, coding, and programming of modern BMW models from the F-, G-, and I-series, as well as the latest Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles. Thanks to direct Ethernet communication (DoIP), this cable provides lightning-fast and stable connections with your diagnostic equipment – essential for complex tasks such as ECU programming, FSC generation, and full vehicle scans.
The robust, shielded cable construction is designed for professional use and enables the use of factory software such as ISTA+ and E-SYS. This makes the cable indispensable for both professional BMW specialists and demanding hobbyists.
Application and functionality:
This interface supports the following functions in combination with the appropriate software:
- High-speed coding: Activate or change vehicle options, such as start/stop, lighting, or mirror folding.
- ECU programming: Flash individual control units with official BMW firmware (I-Level updates).
- Full diagnostic scans: Quickly read fault codes and perform fault analysis via ISTA+ or E-SYS.
- Module initialization: After installing accessories (e.g., trailer hitch, headlights), modules can be coded.
- Live datastreams: Real-time reading of sensor data and module activity.
- Navigation update: Facilitates FSC code generation for map updates.

Not suitable for older E-series BMWs – these require a K+DCAN cable.
