The Foxwell I80 Max is a professional diagnostic tool, based on an Android operating system and equipped with a 10.1-inch LCD color screen. The device communicates with vehicles via a wireless VCI dongle with Bluetooth 4.0. The I80 Max supports a full system diagnosis for a wide range of vehicle brands and offers more than 40 service and maintenance functions. A license for 3 years of software updates is included with purchase.

This system offers advanced diagnostic capabilities, including bidirectional control for actuating actuators and ECU coding for adjusting vehicle parameters. The functionality can be further expanded with optional hardware modules such as an oscilloscope and a videoscope. Features like automatic VIN recognition and support for the DoIP protocol contribute to an efficient diagnostic process. Diagnostic reports can be saved and shared directly from the device.

Diagnostic functions:

The Foxwell I80 Max performs a full system diagnosis, analyzing all electronic control units present in a vehicle.

• Actuator control (Bidirectional control): Sends commands to vehicle systems to actively test the functionality of components such as relays, injectors, and motors.
• Read and clear fault codes (DTC): Reads and clears fault codes from all available systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, and body.
• Live data functions: Displays real-time data from sensors and modules in both textual and graphical formats. It is possible to combine multiple data streams into one graph for detailed analysis.

Service and maintenance functions:

This diagnostic device supports more than 40 service and maintenance functions. Available functions may vary by vehicle brand, model, and year.

Engine and drivetrain:

• Oil service and inspection reset: Resets the vehicle's maintenance system after an oil change or service.
• Throttle body learning (TBA/TPS): Resets the actuators of the throttle body to default values after replacement or cleaning.
• Injector coding: Registers new injector codes in the control unit (ECU) after replacement.
• Transmission adaptation values reset: Restores the learning values of the automatic transmission to factory settings.
• EGR valve learning: Adjusts the values of the exhaust gas recirculation valve after cleaning or replacement.
• Air-fuel ratio adjustment (A/F): Sets or resets the ratio between air and fuel.
• Clutch adjustment: Learns the engagement points of a new clutch in (semi-)automatic transmissions.
• Fuel pump activation: Activates the fuel pump, for example, to bleed the system.
• Turbo learning: Sets the parameters for a new turbo after installation.
