The module connects via the vehicle's OBD diagnostic port to read and clear fault codes. It is designed for use in various applications where Deutz Euro 6 engines are deployed.
This device operates without the need for external software or a computer. It communicates directly with the engine control unit and the AdBlue system. The main function is clearing stored fault codes (DTCs), which leads to deactivating malfunction lights and resetting warnings on the dashboard. By removing the fault codes, the module can also disable any limp mode, restoring full engine power.
Application and functionality:
The device is used to clear fault codes stored in the vehicle's control units. This helps restore full functionality when a malfunction has occurred that limits performance.
