Jaltest AGV (Agricultural) Diagnostic Tool

What's in the box

The case contains the hardware which provides the connection, plus the software rights that unlock the AGV module system. The hardware is identical to that in the standalone kit 70001060; the distinction between the four diagnostic devices lies in the software module, not in the case. Below you'll find details of each component and its corresponding reference number.

Hardware

• Jaltest Link V9 (70001015): The diagnostic interface you connect to the machine's diagnostic socket, with 26-pin DB26 to the cable and USB-C to the PC.
• Multipin Kit AGV (70002002): The agricultural version of the multipin kit: Twenty multipins JTP01 through JTP10, each in two colours, the connection cable JTP101 and three power cables — JDC10AM2 with battery clamps, JDC20AM2 for the cigarette lighter socket and JDC30AM2 with the three-pin round connector for agricultural machinery.
• OBD cable, 16-pin (JDC213.9): The standard cable for the regular diagnostic connection.
• USB-C cable (JDC107.9B): The connection between the Link and your laptop.
• Extension cable, 100 cm (JDC100): Fitted with a 26-pin DB26 connector, the wide connector on the Link itself.
• Carrying case (70003015): The compact version, 505 x 381 x 146 mm.

Software

• Software (29751): The one-time purchase that unlocks the AGV module.
• Licence activation, twelve months (73501007): The right to use it for the first year.
• INFO Online AGV (29475): The technical documentation for the software. Included, not available separately and is free of charge from 2026 onwards.
• Jaltest GRP: The workshop software from Cojali for customers, machines and reports.

Which machines and systems

Jaltest AGV covers three groups — tractors, combine harvesters and implements — plus machines that communicate according to ISOBUS standard standards. A brand in the list means that coverage, not that every model and year of manufacture is fully supported. The division by continent refers to the country where the brand originates, not the current owner.

Implements, trailed and self-propelled

Well-known brands among the implements in the coverage of earthmoving equipment: Aebi, Agrifac, Amazone, Case IH, Challenger, Energreen, Faresin, Fendt, Holmer, Horsch, John Deere, Krone, Kuhn, Kverneland, Lindner, New Holland, Ploeger, Reform, Strautmann, Trioliet, Vervaet and Vredo.

All 62 implement brands, split by continent:

European includes the United Kingdom, Turkey and Russia. Chinese is separate from Asian, which includes Japan, South Korea, India and Taiwan. Under Other are manufacturers from Australia and Africa, plus a few names whose country of origin could not be determined.

The systems in the machine

• Drivetrain: Engine, transmission and gearbox.
• Hydraulics: The hydraulic systems of the machine.
• Electronics: Central computer, electronic modules, gateway and instrument panel.
• Comfort and bodywork: Climate control, lighting, audio and engine immobiliser.
• Braking: The auxiliary braking systems.

What you can do with it

With the AGV module you read out the control units from the machine, you follow the measured valuesand command components. It also includes a reference library with troubleshooting guides, wiring diagrams and maintenance data for the system you're working on.

Diagnostics and service

• Read fault codes: The fault memory of the control unit, with a fault finder for each fault code.
• Measured values: The values of the connected sensors, which you can monitor live.
• Control components: Including activating the fan, deactivating cylinders, performing a compression test and checking the operation of mechanisms.
• ECU data: Serial number, software version and other control unit data.
• Parameters and calibrations: Configure control units and adjust systems.
• Service counters: Reset after a service.

Technical information included

• Fault finder: By fault code and by symptom.
• Technical specifications: Of the system and of the machine.
• Wiring diagrams: The electrical schematics for the system.
• Maintenance data: The maintenance data for the machine.
• Procedures: Release procedures and methods.
• Manual diagnosis: Searching without the system reporting itself.

The difference with expert mode

Standard diagnostics is reading, measuring and controlling components. In expert mode you also modify adjust parameters in the control units: The calibration of sensors and actuators, the setting of operating parameters and the regeneration of the particulate filter. This mode is included.

Cables and computer

The kit contains the 16-pin OBD cable for the standard connector. Does the machine have a manufacturer-specific connector, then a separate cable fitted; in agriculture, a standardised OBD connection has never become mandatory, so those connectors continue to be used on new machines. The software itself runs on a Windows PC.

• Agricultural cable set (70002003): Cables for Deutz engines, Cat and Perkins, Fendt, the CNH Group switchbox, Deutz-Fahr with Same and Lamborghini, Massey Ferguson, Landini, Kubota, and the green 9-pin Deutsch connector.
• Individual cables: Also available separately if you only work with one manufacturer in your workshop.
• Computer: The software runs on Windows. Cojali supplies the Jaltest Rugged PC and the A140 Rugged PAD; both are listed separately in our online shop.

Which cable suits your machine is determined by the diagnostic connector in that machine and not the manufacturer on the engine bonnet. Check the connector on the machine itself before ordering: If it is the 16-pin OBD2 connector, then the included JDC213.9 is sufficient; if it is a manufacturer-specific connector, then the corresponding cable is listed in the agricultural cable set.

Licence and renewal

The software licence runs for twelve months from the activation and is then renewed annually containing the update licence (29764). As long as your licence remains active, you'll receive all new software versions and retain access to the Technical information.

• Renewal: Annually, with the update licence (29764), each time for a further twelve months.
• Subscription period: Twelve months from activation.
• Installations: Maximum of five PCs. Jaltest hardware is always required to run the software.
• Registration: Upon activation, after each new software version, and thereafter every six months.
• Additional modules: A module purchased later will be aligned with your current licence; you pay on a pro-rata basis.
• No renewal: Diagnostics will continue to work on the last installed version, but access to technical information expires. Cojali continues to support an expired licence for a further year.

Optional add-ons

In addition to the AGV module there are add-ons available for separate purchase. They are not necessary to diagnose, but they expand the reference library, the support or tools. Below you'll find what's included for agricultural each option.

• Jaltest INFO Web AGV: The same reference material via a web platform, on a monthly or annual basis.
• Jaltest ATS: One year's access to Cojali's English-language technical support desk. Runs automatically; cancellation must be given in writing up to thirty days before the expiry date.
• Jaltest Central Services: Work carried out by Cojali's specialists for you, charged per task.
• Jaltest ISOBUS: The separate product line for making implements ISOBUS-compatible, with dedicated hardware (85002007) and licence (85104010).
• Jaltest tools: Including the AdBlue cleaning kit for agriculture, OHW and internal transport.
